Find the right Arizona vacation and relax for a lifetime

Idea #1: Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument - Ajo, Arizona. The Organ PIpe Cactus National Monument was founded to celebrate the life and landscape of the Sonoran desert. There are extraordinary plants and animals in the Sonoran Desert for you to enjoy. There are also Sonoran Pronghorns. This desert subspecies can freeze, invisible in the patchwork of cactus and rock. The Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is also a fabulous place for bird watching.
Idea #2: Lees Ferry Trading Post and Fort - Lees Ferry, Arizona. Lees Ferry was the first ferry crossing on the Colorado River for 260 miles prior to the building of the Navajo and Glen Canyon Bridges which were built in the 20th century. Lees Ferry offers a ranger station, campground, launch ramp, courtesy dock, fish-cleaning station and access to 15 miles of the Colorado River (upriver only).
Certainly there are a lot of other destinations that you may want to experience on your Tucson vacation. You may only be here for a brief period of time, but you can appreciate and experience much of the wonderful culture, heritage, and fun that the state has to offer.
